Status: Full Time - Monday -Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
Location: This position travels to Tampa, Wesley Chapel, & Zephyrhills.
Summary
Provides support with the daily activities for ambulatory/physician office operations, including patient registration, telephone coverage, appointment scheduling, and patient referrals under the supervision of Manager Practice Operations, Medical Office Manager, Academic Program Manager, Academic Nurse Manager and/or Practice Site Supervisor.
Provides and documents individualized patient care to include patient and personal safety, patient assessments in collaboration with the ED RN, patient re-assessments, triage, maintaining airway patency, IV access and hang normal saline without additives, ECG interpretations, dysrhythmias recognition, and assists with the application of skeletal traction/splints/immobilizers and other orthopedic equipment.
