The Administrative Director for Operations serves on various hospital committees and collaborates with Orlando Health leadership, Hospital President and administration, the hospital management team, hospital medical staff leadership and the medical staff. Key components of this leadership role include monitoring quality and budgeting standards, ensuring patient satisfaction, and effectively managing to achieve hospital and organization-wide goals. This position is responsible for providing direction and oversight for multiple operational areas and/or multiple department leaders.

Administers patient care in an area in a hospital or inpatient/observation setting where an acute care patient receives active treatment for an injury, episode of illness, a medical condition, or post intervention with assessment.   Lactation Consultant,  - Willing to teach breast feeding and child birthing classes.

These areas require a lower caregiver-to-patient ratio and highly trained team members with advanced skills.

Works with patients who have impairments, limitations, disabilities, or changes in physical function and health status resulting from injury, disease or other causes. The Physical Therapist role includes examination, evaluation, diagnosis, prognosis and interventions toward achieving the highest functional outcomes for each patient or client.

Performs corrective, emergency and preventative maintenance of electrical distribution, mechanical, HVAC, power generation, plumbing, medical gas systems, and building structures as required.

Mental Health Therapist Acute LMHC (licensed mental health counselor) works with patients to promote optimum mental and emotional health.

The Laboratory Section Operations Manager is responsible for monitoring laboratory operations on a daily basis to ensure quality levels of performance are maintained and compliance with applicable regulations.   Anatomic Pathology Manager, requires cytotechnologist licensure in State of Florida.

Promotes and facilitates effective management of hospital resources from admission to discharge, collaborating with the assigned clinical team to identify patient most likely to benefit from care coordination services to include assessing patients’ risk factors and the need for care coordination, clinical utilization management and the transition to the next appropriate level of care.

The Financial Counselor assists patients and their families with a host of services to ensure that the process of collecting payments is fully explained and is as comfortable as possible.

The Credentialing Specialist is responsible for the administration and coordination of all credentialing and reappointment/recredentialing  activities. Ensures the needs of medical staff are met through efficient processes, assuring compliance to accreditation standards, government agencies, as well as Orlando Health bylaws, rules & regulations.   Ability to work hybrid schedule once training has been completed. 3 days onsite and 2 work from home/remote days. Hours: Monday-Friday 8:00am-4:30pm

The Certified Medical Assistant performs patient care under the direction of the physician and supervision of the lead nurse in an ambulatory care.   This position will be part of the Bayfront Health Medical Group Clinics.  Department: Family Medicine - 16th St N Schedule: Full-time; M-F 40hrs per week

Provides quality patient care when performing diagnostic cardiology and/or vascular sonographic imaging and related procedures to demonstrate anatomy for interpretation and/or intervention under the supervision of the department supervisor, manager, or director.

Education/Training  • Bachelor of Science degree in Respiratory Care or Cardiopulmonary Sciences from an approved program: or  • Associate of Science in Respiratory Care with a bachelor’s degree in one of the following: Management, Leadership, Healthcare, Health Sciences, Biology, Education, Cardiopulmonary, Healthcare management, Nursing, or related field.  o Three (3) years’ experience as the Respiratory Care Department Education Specialist may serve as an alternative to the bachelor’s degree requirement when combined with the A.S. degree in Respiratory Care.

Demonstrates a clear understanding of sterile technique. Has a working knowledge of the specialized instrumentation and equipment required for a variety of special procedures.   Labor Delivery 

Responsible for routine clerical/secretarial tasks for persons in a nursing unit.

The management of the scanned images through proper assignment of patient identification and document types. Assist with training and education of new team member.

Responsible for the leadership and oversight of a department in Health Information Management (HIM) under the direction of the Director/Sr. Director of HIM. Responsible for the planning, priority setting, coordination, implementation, and evaluation of the department’s core functions related to HIM. Monitors quality and budgeting standards while managing to achieve hospital and corporate goals. Ensures that a continuous improvement approach is implemented to measure actual performance against established standards.

The Cytotechnologist II examines slides microscopically to detect abnormal, atypical cells that may be present.

Responsible for the inventory, delivery, and restocking of par stations and issuing of emergency supplies to customers as required.   Shift - PRN/Per diem
