Arnold Palmer Hospital is seeking Experienced Registered Nurses to assist our Pediatric Renal Dialysis Team.
Pediatric dialysis is a specialty within a specialty and requires an advanced skill set. The nurse is responsible for hemodialysis, peritoneal dialysis (manual and cycler), apheresis (TPE and red blood cell exchanges), and CRRT treatments across WPH NICU, APH PICU, SPCU, Hematology/Oncology, CVICU, and ER.
Pediatric dialysis is a specialty that requires a complex and specific skill set. Due to the high acuity level, the pediatric dialysis nurses require critical skills such as managing the machines and the patient simultaneously. The nurses also must commit to on-call hours alternating days and weekends, master different treatment modalities, alternate between inpatient and outpatient treatments, and perform various dialysis treatments in a day.

Essential Functions
Education/Training
• Graduate of an approved school of nursing.
• Meets all mandatory, developmental, and performance competency requirements for Orlando Health and unit/department.
Licensure/Certification
• Maintains current State of Florida RN license or valid eNLC multistate RN license
• Maintains current BLS/Healthcare Provider certification.
• ACLS, NRP, PALS, TNCC are required for certain areas. NRP required for Neonatal Intensive care Unit (NICU)
