Responsible for the regular cleaning, deep cleaning, and stock replenishment of high use clinical devices
Maintains a routine schedule and proper documentation pertaining to the cleaning and sanitization of clinical devices in
accordance with all manufacture recommendations (IFUs), infection control policies, and regulatory guidelines.
• Initiates and proactively identifies, evaluates, and resolves minor maintenance and sanitation/cleaning issues pertaining to the
high use clinical devices.
• Routinely inspects high use clinical devices for minor repairs and annual preventive maintenance and notifies the appropriate
department to address when required.
• Provides assistance with the distribution, minor maintenance, sanitization, tracking, and retrieval of clinical equipment throughout
multiple facilities and departments and in accordance with established processes and policies.
• Wears protective clothing as required by the work environment and regulatory agencies.
• Communicates effectively with other staff members.
• Completes task as assigned independently.
• Maintains reasonably regular, punctual attendance consistent with Orlando Health policies, the ADA, FMLA, and other federal
and local laws.
• Maintains compliance with all Orlando Health policies and procedures.
Education/Training.
• Must be able to speak, read, and understand basic English.
• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent – preferred.
Experience
• One year industrial, healthcare, or related experience required.
• One year customer service experience or related experience preferred
