The Manager of Practice Operations will lead the current Outpatient Cardiology team in St. Petersburg, Florida. In this role, you will work collaboratively with physician leadership and senior management to oversee clinic operations, enhance patient access and satisfaction, manage resources, and ensure compliance with Orlando Health standards. Responsibilities

Essential Functions

  • Manage daily operations across outpatient cardiology offices, supporting 4–15 physicians and 15–40 team members
  • Collaborate with physician leads and leadership to improve quality, access, and efficiency of care delivery
  • Develop and manage operating and capital budgets, ensuring resource alignment with goals
  • Oversee compliance with regulatory requirements, accreditation standards, and organizational policies
  • Lead recruitment, onboarding, development, and performance management for clinical and administrative staff
  • Optimize scheduling, patient flow, and clinic processes to enhance the patient experience
  • Monitor performance metrics and lead quality improvement initiatives
  • Maintain facility operations, evaluate space needs, and support planning for future growth
  • Coordinate cross-departmental initiatives and service line strategy
  • Ensure clinic coverage during staff absences to maintain continuity of care
  • Foster a team culture aligned with the Orlando Health mission, values, and service excellence

Qualifications

Education/Training

  • Bachelor’s degree in healthcare, business, or related field OR Four (4) years of directly related work experience may substitute for the degree (in addition to the requirements listed in the experience section)

Experience

  • Two (2) years of healthcare experience, including one (1) year in a lead or supervisory role
