Job Summary
The Manager of Practice Operations is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the Oncology Radiation Clinic at the Bayfront Cancer Institute. This leadership role focuses on optimizing clinic workflows, managing resources, ensuring regulatory compliance, and enhancing the overall patient experience in radiation oncology services. Partnering closely with physician leaders and multidisciplinary teams, you will drive operational performance and foster a culture aligned with Orlando Health’s mission and values.
Essential Job Functions
• Manage daily operations supporting radiation oncology physicians and multidisciplinary clinic staff to deliver seamless, patient-centered care.
• Collaborate with physician leaders and senior management to improve quality, access, and efficiency across radiation oncology services.
• Develop and manage operating and capital budgets aligned with strategic priorities.
• Ensure full compliance with regulatory requirements, accreditation standards, and Orlando Health policies.
• Lead recruitment, onboarding, development, and performance management of clinical and administrative staff within the clinic.
• Optimize patient scheduling, clinic flow, and operational processes to maximize patient satisfaction and care outcomes.
• Monitor performance metrics and lead continuous quality improvement initiatives.
• Oversee facility operations, evaluate space utilization, and support planning for future clinic growth.
• Coordinate cross-departmental initiatives to support integrated cancer care delivery.
• Provide coverage as needed to maintain clinic operations during staff absences.
• Foster a positive, collaborative team culture grounded in Orlando Health’s values and commitment to service excellence.
Education/Training
• Bachelor’s degree in healthcare, business, or related field preferred; OR
• Four (4) years of directly related work experience may substitute for degree (in addition to experience requirements).
Experience
• Minimum two (2) years healthcare experience, including at least one (1) year in a supervisory/leadership role.
