Orlando Health is seeking a detail-oriented and strategic Contracting Analyst to support managed care contract negotiations and management. This role ensures optimal financial and administrative outcomes for the organization and plays a key part in maintaining compliance and operational efficiency.

The Managed Care Contracting Department at Orlando Health plays a vital role in ensuring the financial and operational success of the health system. This team leads negotiations and manages agreements with payors to secure favorable terms that support high-quality patient care and organizational sustainability.

 

This department collaborates across hospital, ancillary, and specialty services to ensure comprehensive contract coverage. It also drives innovation in contract management processes and technology, maintains compliance with transparency regulations, and supports credentialing and payor relations. By aligning with teams such as Population Health, Value-Based Care, and Employer Solutions, the department ensures that Orlando Health remains a leader in delivering value-driven healthcare.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze and manage payor rate sheets, contract matrices, and performance dashboards.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure comprehensive contract coverage across all services.
  • Support contract additions for new physicians and practice locations.
  • Maintain accurate insurance listings and ensure compliance with transparency regulations.
  • Participate in Joint Operating Committee (JOC) meetings and align with Population Health and Value-Based Care teams.
  • Facilitate training and education for revenue cycle staff.
  • Ensure credentialing accuracy in collaboration with the Credentialing Verification Organization (CVO).

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration, business, finance, or related field preferred. Four years of relevant experience may substitute for bachelor's degree.
  • Experience: Minimum of two years in contract management or healthcare analytics.
