Orlando Health Bayfront Hospital is seeking an Imaging Manager to lead and oversee imaging services across multiple sites. This is an exciting opportunity to join a dedicated team in a dynamic environment while supporting cutting-edge diagnostic services.
The Imaging Manager will be responsible for managing team members, optimizing workflows, and ensuring timely, accurate, and high-quality imaging services for patients and care teams. Job Overview
The Imaging Manager oversees the Imaging Services departments and team members under the direction of the Director of Imaging Services. The role ensures high-quality, timely, and accurate imaging services while supporting the hospital’s mission and strategic goals.
Essential Functions
Coordinate scheduling and supervision of team members to achieve operational goals
Participate in planning and implementing new services, policies, and procedures with the imaging leadership team
Conduct regular meetings with staff to provide guidance, share information, and resolve issues
Support Process Improvement and Quality Management programs ensuring compliance in assigned areas
Ensure compliance with Safety and Infection Control standards and legal requirements
Participate in hiring, onboarding, development, coaching, and performance management of team members
Promote professional development and a high-performance team environment
Maintain accurate documentation of budgetary, procedural, performance, and regulatory standards
Ensure effective use of corporate imaging computer systems
Collaborate with physicians, radiologists, and leadership to optimize patient and staff workflows
Maintain compliance with all hospital, imaging, and corporate policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements
Attend and conduct meetings with staff, physicians, and vendors as necessary
Work with the Radiation Safety Officer to ensure safe practices with radioactive materials
Education
Bachelor’s Degree required
Licensure & Certifications
Florida Certified Radiologic Technologist license or Nuclear Medicine Technologist license (renewed biannually)
ARRT, CNMT, ARDMS, or CCI certification as appropriate
BLS/Healthcare Provider certification
Experience
Minimum of three (3) years in Nuclear Medicine or Imaging Services, including at least one (1) year of supervisory experience in a clinical setting
Preferred qualifications: Licensure in MRI and CT or extensive MRI/CT experience; minimum of seven (7) years in both MRI and CT with a strong preference for MRI expertise
