
Orlando Health Bayfront Hospital is seeking a talented Senior Recruiter who serves as a strategic business partner, delivering service excellence in developing recruitment strategies, sourcing tactics, and partnering with hiring leaders to meet workforce planning objectives.
This role focuses on identifying and hiring diverse, top talent while providing strategic consulting on process, compliance, and expectations throughout the recruitment cycle. Additionally, the Senior Recruiter mentors team members and acts as a subject matter expert to ensure adherence to best practices for optimal results.
This is a hybrid role with onsite visits to Bayfront on an as needed basis and once monthly visits to downtown Orlando for attendance of monthly department meetings. Must live within a commutable distance to 701 6th St S, St Petersburg, FL 33701 or be willing to relocate.
Essential Functions
- Consult with department leaders to define short- and long-term staffing needs aligned with succession planning, hiring forecasts, turnover, and new program development.
- Partner with hiring managers to understand business needs and create innovative recruitment strategies to attract talented, diverse candidates.
- Ensure a positive experience for applicants and hiring managers through timely communication and status updates.
- Serve as a role model, trainer, and mentor to recruiters and peers.
- Source passive and active candidates using creative recruitment technologies, strategies, and social platforms while promoting diversity and inclusion.
- Develop and implement recruitment plans for assigned departments or key roles, considering compensation and labor market trends.
- Stay informed on recruiting trends and marketplace developments; maintain awareness of organizational changes.
- Lead initiatives to improve talent acquisition capabilities through change management, organizational design, and training.
- Facilitate workshops and meetings to review talent infrastructure and recommend strategies for hiring and leadership development.
- Represent Orlando Health’s brand, mission, and values at all stages of the recruitment process, ensuring candidates have a positive perception of the organization.
- Utilize HRIS and talent management technologies effectively.
Additional Responsibilities
- Represent Orlando Health at job fairs, conferences, and networking events.
- Build relationships with state, federal, collegiate, and professional entities to source qualified candidates.
- Maintain compliance with Orlando Health policies and procedures.
- Participate in departmental goal-setting, committees, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Maintain confidentiality and demonstrate the ability to work independently.
- Engage in ongoing professional development and handle special projects as needed.
Education and Experience
- Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience (1:1 ratio) in sales, customer service, account management, recruiting, or consulting.
- Experience:
- 3–5 years of progressively responsible HR experience, including at least 3 years in recruitment.
- 2+ years sourcing on external platforms.
- Minimum 2 years in a metric-driven environment.
- Proven ability to coach and mentor others.
- Advanced proficiency in HR/TA technology and systems.
