Job Description:
The Patient Transportation Group Lead is responsible for assisting, directing, and coordinating transportation services across patient care and ancillary support areas. This role serves as a working lead, actively participating in daily operations while overseeing the performance of team members.
This Team Member needs to be a self-motivated leader that is able to direct and coordinate activities of other Transportation Services personnel within patient care and ancillary support areas of the hospital and report any problems to the appropriate personnel. Provide training and operational orientation for all new staff members. Assist in ensuring staff compliance with all hospital and departmental proficiency training requirements.
